Edward Preston Engineers Level
The Edward Preston engineers level is machined up true on the base with a V-shaped
groove running the length of the base. The spirit tube is housed within a
Nickel-plated tube with a revolving protector. The level is easily adjusted and
securely fixed with locking nuts.
This style of engineers level has been very popular throughout the 20th century
with makers such as Moore and Wright, and Starrett.
Into the 21st century this style of engineers level has pretty much remained the same
with the exception of Moore and Wright who have given the level a slightly new look.
